Is farfel the same thing as couscous?
Want to make farfel but mistake got couscous in store.

If it is, anyone have a good recipe lol?

Help a clueless woman out please.

It’s not the same..you can put farfel in a soup, but it wouldnt taste good with couscous.. but they both make great side dishes

Did you buy Israeli couscous? That's the same as farfel.

I haven't done that but it should work if you double the recipe as per comments down the thread.

Question - we grew up calling it ferfel as opposed to farfel. Any idea why?
