Mounjaro/zepbound tell me everything, I'm desperate!!!!

Its very expensive.

I am taking it.

The weight loss is slow. so far 18 lbs in 10 doses (not weeks because I take every 8 days instead of every 7)

Now with the new study that came out about vision, I am scared out of my mind and trying to get the courage to take my next dose and havent been able to do it yet.

Its not magic. It helps but it takes work.

I still have 50 lbs to lose so I really need to get my courage to take the next dose.

Anyone else with personal experience?

Did your PCP prescribe?
Does your insurance cover? If not, how much is it?
What are the side effects you've had?
Are you open about it? Or it's a secret?
I know so many people that have lost tons of weight recently and most don't admit to doing the shots, so I don't really have anyone to ask about it.

I was on wagovy for a year and just switched to zepbound
Weight loss on wagovy was veryyyy slow
Zepbound is much better
I eat much less
Feel full
Minor side effects wagovy was worse
Constipation and bit nauseous first day
I get it through insurance and get it from a bariatric doctor

Hugs. This sounds really hard. I don't have experience with those things but I have experience with working with people heal their relationship with their food and body. I've also been there myself. It was a miserable experience and I feel your pain. It's hard to be in that place. It really really is.

Just want to say that you're worthy, lovable, and enough as you are. You don't have to earn a right to be ok via an "ideal" body. That doesn't mean you shouldn't work towards something better for yourself, not at all! Just that....there are ways to feel ok in the spaces between and I hope you find that place of hope.

I also hope that you find a path to a weight/body that feels right for you and is also feels healthy physically and emotionally (meaning, that you are ok, gentle, and loving with yourself in the journey ...because all the journeys will take time!).

I hope you get to the place soon where you feel you are at a place you want to be in regard to this and that some other imas have the answers regarding this specific method. Hugs!!

I'm looking into it more now, my doctor recommended it and I finally decided that I should do it, but now I realize that it's impossible to get... I called a few pharmacies and they all said it's out of stock for a while Sad

I was getting from pharmacies until they ran out and I really wanted to continue so I went with them. They get from a compound pharmacy.
