Anyone else experienced this recently? My friend had a few not Jewish services cancel on her.

Like Uber
Many times once they realize it’s lakewood they cancel.
Supposedly it’s bec they hate the traffic but who knows ??

Really? I've been ubering daily in Lakewood area recently and never had a ride cancel. Sometimes it takes a few minutes to find a driver but no cancellations.

Wherever I am, if I uber to a far distance they frequently cancel right outside my door (that's when they see the destination). Ive stopped using uber to airports because ot this (unless airport is close).

My son was gonna take uber with a few friends, later in the night so no traffic.
When the guy was at the corner (my son saw the car) he canceled. This was for a local few minutes trip.
The boys were dressed very obviously Jewish. I have a feeling that's the reason he canceled.
I'm very wary of uber.

This us an issue with with Lyft. Sometimes the app will cancel and start looking for a new driver even when they are a minute away, because it decides to send your driver to someone else. It makes no sense. Last time they did it I complained and got $5 credit

Yes. My sons yeshiva never has bussing and parents often use Uber and they cancel a lot.
When they take the job I don’t believe they have an exact address. So only once they accept they might see it’s lakewood especially if closer to a border area.

The app does not work well last I tried. They’re so easy to deal with when you call .
