I have a close family friend's wedding coming up and am debating what to do with my 10 month old. DH and I are both going.

Option #1: Bring baby to KP/Chuppah, then go home, put baby to sleep and leave with sitter, go back to wedding for dancing.

Option #2: Bring sitter to wedding, stay for the whole thing (less preferred since it will be loud and bright with nowhere to put her down).

Option #3: Bring baby to wedding, no sitter.

Which would you choose? Any other advice appreciated!

personally would not bring baby at all.. I don’t feel a wedding is a place for little kids. You will enjoy it much more without your baby there! mazel tov!!

Option 3.
You can always leave a bit early if needed.

But it’s best to leave her home.

d none of the above. Leave the baby home with a sitter. Why does she need to be there at all?

Option 1 but only if you are certain that your baby will go to sleep nicely at home and you won’t be stuck at home for 2 hours till she settles. Otherwise, option 2. She can sleep in a dark coat room in her carriage with a babysitter watching her. It’ll be fine.

ETA: All 3 options are fine so don’t stress too much. But if you want to be present by the dancing make sure your husband is on baked with watching baby outside the main ballroom at times.

The family would be happy to see her. Also her bedtime falls smack in the middle of all this and I'm not comfortable yet having someone else put her to bed.
