How often to wash the mattress protector

How often do I wash it? As often as the sheets? I find that the coating inside gets ruined in the dryer,

I wash it every two weeks in my linens loads and then hang dry it.. please don’t use fabric softener for it, it will tear the fibers..

It won’t dry in time to be used that night and I only have one pair

Maybe you can partly dry it in the dryer and then hang dry it outside- if you can..

If I didn't get it dirty I just wash 1x a year. Linen that's on top of it gets washed every week.
