My 7 year old daughter and I read for a few minutes every night before bed. (I read, she cuddles). We are just about finished with all 4 PJ Pepperjay books and they are perfect.
Any suggestions of another book (or series?). I would like it to be Jewish and I would like it to be entertaining/comical.

I went to a local Jewish library and was able to take out almost all the (Jewish) recommended books here. I read through them over Shabbos. They are all great! In different ways.
I think Bentzi is probably the best though they didn't have Penina Farina so I'm not ready to make a decision.
I also took out a Faigy and Feivel book by Leah Milstein and really liked it. Additionally, a PJ library book series about a girl named Saralee Siegel who has the gift of being able to identify any smell. The book was culturally Jewish though not necessarily halachically Jewish. I think I actually liked this one the most!

The Penina Farina books have that silliness similar to PJ Pepperjay
