What do I wear?
I’ve been to Brit Milla and Upsherin?
All the guests went SUPER fancy
The family all had LONG BEADED GOWNS
The guest some wore maxi, some wore midi
most very glitzy, sequins, beaded, gold, silver etc etc
I can’t imagine how a wedding would be
Can I wear any maxi I have

I think you should be fine with any maxi, as long it’s not too fancy that ppl will think your family.

Yes we do, we have fancy weddings so it’s like 175 to 200 something per a person, sometimes even more these days. And we invite lots of people, so itmagije paying that on your own for all your guests. lol
It’s the way in our community/tradition as in helping out with the wedding cost/wedding gift.
That’s just how we do it and we’re fine with it

Just because people are wearing sequins, I don't wear sequins if it's not my thing. My friend is bucharian and I dress appropriate for me per the occasion and it works BH.

We were invited from OOT
I don’t even know if we could stay after the chuppah
It all depends on how tzniyut the crowd is
I’d hate to spend a lot on a new dress for only the chuppah
Where we live there aren’t so many weddings and the dress (embellished) that I use to wear doesn’t fit anymore
I hope to slim down and fit into it again
