Just started sending out messages if anyone knows a hatzolah guy who can run fluids because I'm desperate at this point, only got down maybe an ounce of little sips of body armor. I'm located in Monticello (upstate NY) currently if you know anyone in the area |
Call the main Hatzalah number - that is what they are there for .
718-387-1750
They will be able to send someone to you immediately instead of you trying to find someone on your own…

I think if you call it in they're obligated to take you to the ER

I only read your op, but in case this helps you, next time try sipping caffinated coffee instead, a Dr once told me that. It worked for me.

I hope you're feeling better OP.
My DD always gets nauseous and dehydrated on Tisha B'Av and YK (other fasts she gets up beforehand so it's not a full 24+ hours). I always stock cans of ginger ale (specifically Seagrams have electrolytes) and she sips it at the end of a fast for a while, till she's ready to eat.
Hope you got what you needed and feel better.

For the future, when you feel like this, the point isn't to get rid of the nausea. Donuts and ice cream and ginger ale will all make you more sick. It needs to be specifically electrolytes that'll make you feel better almost immediately. Gatorade and pretzels works the best, tried and true over and over. That's what any doctor would recommend. Once you try that you generally won't need iv unless it's already really bad, but definitely first try this. You need to do small sips and little bites of pretzels at a time and you would see you start feeling better. Regarding nursing, I think once you get some electrolytes into your body it's ok to nurse but you definitely shouldn't nurse on empty...
Hatzlacha! Really hope you feel better!

Caffeine makes your body more dehydrated, so I don’t think this is a good idea when you’re this badly dehydrated - ask your doctor first.

I didn’t read the whole post
I don’t know if you tried this but some ginger tea might help
Also if you don’t have electrolytes a TBSP of pickle juice help's. The brine is full of electrolytes. 1 TBSP at a time until you feel well enough to drink some tea
