My rabbi said “no hot shower” so I think that means a cold shower or lukewarm shower or abridged shower is okay. I’m a morning showerer so that’s what I plan to do tomorrow before Chatzos.

Follow your minhag. I know there are some that don't cold shower in the nine days and don't shower until tomorrow noon.

Motzei Tisha B’Av:

After the fast is out we still do not shower (bathe), do laundry, shave, take haircuts, or eat meat until after Chatzos the next day – basically the same Hanhagos as during the nine days. The difference is that after Tisha B’Av is more Kal.
While this whole night and half day aveilus is more Kal than the rest of the nine days, the night following Tisha B’Av is more Chamur than the next day before Chatzos. Therefore if issues arise that would require doing one of the forbidden acts one is more likely to be allowed accordingly (and one should ask their Rov).

It's still the 9 days. So you can take a 9-day shower tonight for tomorrow morning if you need to

It's not like the 9 days,
It's like Tisha bav except for the fast.

not really. you can wash your hands, annoint yourself, have relations (each according to his minhag, but def mikvah night). I believe we keep it like 9 days. so if you need a shower, a not hot one is usually what most people hold
