First we break our fast on cake and coffee.
Then I will have a fresh lentil soup with fresh bread.
Tuna salmon patties. With either rice or potatoes.
And maybe a salad. Maybe not.

Dh and I are the only ones fasting and DH requested pizza made from pe-made pizza dough rounds, so we shall have that. I may make cinnamon buns if I feel up to it, and a quick lentil soup and/or Greek salad if I'm in the mood.

In Israel, so we've already eaten.
Fresh baked bread with optional butter.
Scrambled eggs with vegetables.
Fruit.
A choice of:
Water
Chocolate milk
Orange juice
Strawberry smoothie (I observed that if I switched the sugar for honey, it has all the ingredients in Rorie's hydration drink, plus strawberries and yoghurt, and it's a lot easier on my stomach.)
More water
As a philosophical question, I was thinking today that we eat boiled eggs for the seuda hamafseket as a symbol of mourning. So should we really be eating them to break the fast, when we are still mourning, but have moved on to hopes for the future? Does cooking them in a different way make the difference?

I think it does make a difference when it’s not in the round shape

Cinnamon buns
Fresh rolls and vegetable soup
Bagels
I’m considering making lasagna or I might just have leftovers from this week-pizza bubble ring and salmon
Now that I think about it that’s a lot of bread. Wasn’t intended that way just what everyone requested.
