I just purchased an Ipad for my daughter and want to filter it. I only want her to have access to basic apps and to disable the browser. (I dont want to bring it to TAG) Is there a way to do this myself?

Go to screentime > Content and privacy restrictions. Set a password.
You can disable the browser and only allow select apps. You can also disable the ability to download new apps.

You can also set timers on specific apps. They lock when the amount of time designated is over.
