Dh saw mold on the main unit. What should I do about it? When DH asked the AC guy he said he doesn't know. The only way he can clean the machine is to take it apart completely and the only time he does that is when the machine doesn't work. It's working, it's just not clean. When I asked a mold guy he said he has someone who can clean the ducts. We don't know if there's mold in the ducts but we do know it's on the main unit so maybe also in the ducts? but just cleaning the ducts won't help. I'm lost because I know we need to take care of this but I don't know whom to call and who can actually help. I'm not looking to pay a few hundred dollars to call someone down, only for them to tell me they can't help. Any advice?

Get another HVAC guy to take a look and make his recommendations.

The one Dh called is top of the line, so I was surprised he had no idea. He even said that someone else had just asked him same question and he didn't know what to say.
