Hi,

I'm from the UK. We're booked to go to Israel in a couple of weeks with my husband and kids but a bit nervous now.
A holiday for me is going somewhere with plenty kosher food so that I don't need to cook or bring food along.
Was thinking of maybe going to Florida. Do ppl go there now or is it much too hot because I see in the news about hurricanes? I don't know much about the USA but wanted to go on vacation to somewhere with plenty kosher food!! And would love to see America Very Happy

Please help me!

I don't think a kosher hotel in a random country would be a good fit for us. Was looking to take an air bnb and buy food

Florida is really hot it's doable if you have a house with a pool and the kids stay in the water.

Would you say it's hotter than israel? We wouldn't have a pool in israel, we somehow manage in the heat there

Florida is an ichy humid heat in the summer, plus hurricane season is started. Not the time to go.

Other options- New York/ New Jersey. Chicago. Baltimore. LA.

If you're thinking LA, there's plenty to do here, weather similar to IL (Jerusalem). But waaaay more expensive to travel to than East Coast (NY, NJ, Baltimore...)

More humid than israel. Feels hotter in a way. Also doesn't cool down as much at night like it does in Jerusalem. Step outside at 7 am it's boiling...same at 10 pm. I personally go in the summer and like it...the kids spend most of the time in the pool and I'm ok with the heat. But I wouldn't go to outdoor parks etc...
