A relative was just in london. She went to the toy store there. She said it's the largest in the world -- 5 floors.
She said it was very impressive.

A lot of museums are free:
British museum
Science museum
Natural history museum
National Maritime museum
Imperial war museum
Royal air force museum
Museum of London Docklands - it has a lovely children's discovery area which I think costs a bit of money
Young V&A - Bethnal Green children's museum
If you're into art galleries a lot of those are free.
Loads of beautiful parks; Hampstead heath, Victoria park, Richmond park are some of my favourites.

This. A huge number of major museums in London are free.
Plus there are tons of spacious and lovely parks.
