I heard one of the branches is shutting down; does anyone have info about the others? The one I'm most interested in is Lawrence but also curious about the rest. I have a gift card from Black Friday that between one thing and another I only got to use part of :-(

Oh gosh, I hope it’s not true.
I also have a gift card that I got once that should have a $100 value but came empty. I tried reaching out to them but never got a response.

Unfortunately they filed for bankruptcy and a bunch of branches are closing. The Upper East Side closed, along with Times Square and Avenue M in Brooklyn. I also had that gift card but used it up this past weekend - I recommend using it as quickly as possible! The Times Square one closed with only 2 days notice.
Note that they're not necessarily all closing but most people with the gift cards are trying to use while they can.

I was at the Lakewood store this wk, there was a sign that read that some items are not available anymore, n on bottom of the paper it said we are not closing

Can't use it too soon because I'm away for the summer... I might be back for a day at some point but would be great if anyone knows exactly how urgent it is

Yes, actually. There's been no official statement about Lawrence and several other locations. But sometimes people know things, or there are omens like for rent signs that you only notice if you're there, and I'm out of town
