We're thinking of moving to Manchester at the end of next year. Can you tell me the difference between all the Yeshivish schools?

Beis chinuch is veery yeshivish most families are very simple and in klei kodesh, they don't accept if you use the eiruv.
tiferes has the learning parents though a big majority are working though still yeshivish.

Ateres elisheva is a new school maybe a slightly more yeshivish than tiferes. they are very anti smartphones, wont accept if a mother has one just because.

I think Sara Schenirer may be more like bnos.
But I could be wrong.

Iv heard Beis chinuch is very strict with acceptance and only accept siblings or second generations.
Dont know firsthand.

Tiferes is also hard to get into and they are quite selective.
It is a lovely school.

I think Jewish day is the most liberal.
It may be a struggle to get in but alot people end up getting accepted.

Ateres Elisheva is pretty new. This September they will have their first class going into year 6. I have heard that they are not planning a high school.
Tiferes is quite academically ahead. They have no SEN department in the high school.
Bnos is expanding its High school and making 3 classes from September (or so I've heard)

I we t to Soroh Schneirer in London and my sister's girls go to Beis Chinuch. From what I hear, it's the most similar. Frum, yeshivish school where you can rely that your daughter can be comfortable in every one of her friend's homes.

But, BC only accept one class (??) and priority goes to siblings, so depending on the year you may not even stand a chance of getting in.

That should be fine.
Also, AE should be the easiest to get into just because it's the newest school so not many siblings YET.. 😉
your best bet is to apply to a few.

Yes I get the impression this school is the best fit, but sounds like it's unlikely we'll get in Sad

We have some time though, so I guess can see if we can find anyone we know there who can help us with it.

If it's full of siblings there's nothing you can do!!! But if there's space then you definitely stand a chance. Good luck!

Sorry to disappoint ateres elisheva is insanely hard to get into
Even If you need the computer for work
They won't look at you as why take someone with technology when they have so many without
If they will even consider you
they will strongly discourage any kind of internet at home even fully filtered they don't even let emails
If they do agree you will need techloq filter under the schools account and the secretary has to approve every site you want to open and has full access to your laptop
