I have been looking to move my fanily to Florida for some time now. I was told Esti Wolbe from kosher.com has started a development in Boca Raton.
Does anyone have information? What types of peope live there hashkafically? Is it a very wealthy crowd? Welcoming? How do I contact them?
All information is appreciated!

I’ve been to their Shul it’s a really nice, small, warm, welcoming crowd. It’s located in Boca Point. I have a family member that lives there.
We enjoy visiting there. |
Thats a pretty big statement to make about another community. There are many areas in Boca and certainly not all of them are modern orthodox. I am sure you did not mean to label or put down anyone but that is how it came across.

I don’t even know how that came off as putting anyone down
unless you think there is something wrong with modern orthodox
I will remove it if that is how it came across
I only have positive things to say of the community
I will remove my post

I don't know why you're offended, she didn't post anything bad or put anyone down.

I grew up in boca (late 20s now)
It was definitely modern orthodox and more traditional as I was growing up.
In the past 5ish years it's become much more diverse and alot more black hat/ right leaning.

She lives in boca point.
She didn't start a development. She moved into an already existing development. It has grown more Jewish or religious over the years.
There are lots of neighborhoods around that neighborhood higher up that are also religious.
Might help to get a realtor to get familiar with the different areas.
Good luck.

Maybe I am mistaken but Boca reminds me of a place that both husband and wife need to work at good jobs. Rent is high. You need 2 cars. AC is on 24/7. (I have 3 relatives, young 30's living there. ) They love the area, the shuls, neighbors but for youngsters starting out its a little harder.
