I do, and it works, but only very recently found out that pony falls have a clip in the back, that would help it stay in place

You can add it to any regular wig.
Op it seems like you are asking if you can style your fall into a pony style on your own, no reason why not. Unless you're looking for a glam high pony style.
A regular every day pony is very easy to do. Treat it like your own hair.

yes but it might stick out weirdly. I find it looks nicer to doubel the pony under or clip it up
