NO dairy meals for nine days

Our son is recently off all dairy, we're still adjusting.

Post your kid friendly, easy, cheap: favorite! parve meals for the nine days. Extra points if it's healthy or if its good for mom's weight. GO!

Falafel balls, pita, fried eggplant, Israeli salad, pickled onions, pickles, tehini.

Hard corn taco shells or flour tortillas. Warm black beans seasoned with taco seasoning. Cubed avocado, tomato and scallions. Serve with fresh rice.

Shakshuka with something to scoop it up with. Maybe make some fresh onion rolls.

Sesame noodles: to a box of cooked (drained) spaghetti add 1/3 cup each soy sauce, sugar, oil, sesame seeds, scallions, and a just few shakes of toasted sesame oil. Add marinated and browned small cubes of tofu.

Avocado toasts topped with spiced roasted crispy chickpeas or sunny side up.

Potato frittata with a large salad.

Roasted eggplant with chickpeas, tehini and humus.

Tuna (canned) pasta casserole and a hearty soup.

Fish n chips (breaded fish and French fries).

Power bowl with sections of quinoa, roasted cubed sweet potato, caramelized onion and lettuce, with added nuts, seeds, dressing.

Poke bowl with cooked sushi rice, cubes of kani, mango, avocado, scallions, sweet sauce and spicy mayo.

Veggie or black bean burgers, toasted buns with sliced tomato, lettuce, red onion and some sauces to drizzle.

You can ask your LOR, depending on his age he may be able to have chicken or even meat. My son is allergic to dairy as well.

Nuts fish and soy are your friends!

Bagels with tuna/lox/egg salad
Vegetable patties with mushroom sauce
Açai bowl
Bean stew
Quinoa and roasted chickpeas salad
Flounder rollups filled with mashed potatoes

My dairy free toddlers eat fleshigs, but :

Veggie chili/ tacos

Salmon or other fish

Dairy free pizza (he may or may not put up with the fake cheese)

Veggie burgers

Falafel and chummus

Layered potatoes and egg bake made with oil/mayo and spices instead of sour cream

Lukshen with cocoa instead of cottage cheese

Orzo with mushrooms omit the melted cheese

Spaghetti/noodles with marinara sauce, skip the melted cheese

Mock liver made with peas/string beans, eggs, sautéed onions,(mayo), and ground nuts.

Avocado egg salad

Mushroom egg salad

Creamed Spinach skip the melted cheese

Broccoli n zucchini soup skip the melted cheese

French onion soup skip the melted cheese

Fruit smoothie skip the yogurt

Pancakes instead of cheese latkes

BBQ cubed salmon over salad

Ceasars salad skip the parm cheese

Lox skip the cream cheese on bagel, or do non dairy cream cheese

Tuna mixed with salad

Tuna patties

Fish sticks

Breaded tilapia or flounder fish

Mashed potatoes skip the butter and sour cream

Any veggies without cheese like roasted veggies, broccolli

Sautéed zucchini with eggs

Letcho with eggs, skip the cheese

Tuna or salmon patties

Salad topped with chic peas or nuts

Baked potato or sweet potato

Scrambled eggs, skip cheese, hard Boiled eggs,soft Boiled eggs, sunny side up, French toast skip the milk, deviled eggs.

Oatmeal with water or pareve milk

Any pareve soup like potato soup, bean soup, veg soup, split pea soup, tomato soup
