I walk almost every night with my dh. I wouldn’t walk at night alone but I would with a friend. At night we try to stay on north side only. Never the path but on top by the sidewalk. I would also not do the bridges in the middle of the lake at night.
South side is more isolated and darker.
The path is dark and very isolated.

I used to walk there nearly every night but that was several years ago. I don't think it's safe at night any more ...

I was walking with dh and I saw a homeless really creepy looking man. I was terrified.

There are a few steady homeless ppl along the boardwalk that return every summer.
Also often you have teens hanging out in north lake park or the large part of the boardwalk doing drugs. Makes me uncomfortable to walk alone.

Okay thanks! I won’t go at night. I was trying to figure out a safe place to walk at night when the weather cools off. It’s too hot for me to walk during the day. I actually don’t enjoy walking without a destination but I really need to get some exercise.
