My case manager called me today and said the criteria has changed. Is much more severe and drastic now. I asked a few friends and they hadn't been informed yet.
Have you been told this?

I heard this a few months ago, and then they slashed my son's hours to almost nothing...

Got a call yesterday, same story as Op. My feeling is some agencies are not having that challenge? It’s 1 agency I think saying this so far
What are you going to do op?

It’s not the agency it’s the insurance like health first gives denials and or very few hours

I don’t think that makes sense, many agencies could use fidelis or United or empire, it’s the govt program that changed. Some agencies seem to be notifying and some I don’t know..

I work in the field
Overall hours are getting harder to get approved
However, health first happens to be really hard to get hours approved from. Every kid gets his hours approved by their insurance so the agency doesn’t decide which insurance you use. It’s whatever the parents chose so they can try to change plans. Some companies are getting stricter than others.
