S/o from the thread about smelling illness. I didn't read the magazine article so I don't know what the point was but I've had two patients who said their pet detected their cancer. One tumor was detected by a dog and the other by a cat.

How did the pets detect cancer? What were the signs of them detecting it?

I don't remember the details; both were a long time ago. I think the cat changed to angry behavior when this person was around and repeatedly swiped a paw against her abdomen. I think the dog kept rubbing its nose forcefully against the area that ultimately was found to have the tumor.
