What could be a halachic issue in using a face primer on shabbos?

It is liquid, doesn’t add color.
As far as I understand, if a substance is liquid and its surface cannot be smoothed, it should be fine.
What do you think?

It probably depends on the primer bec all my primers are thicker.

Liquid means really liquid. I’ve never seen a primer that thin and watery.

I like the too faced 3 in 1 hangover spray. It's a primer setting spray and refreshing spray in one. As far as I know there's no issue using that on shavbos.

Does it help even out your skin?
I have sunscreen sprays and a moisturizing spray, but I wondered if I could somehow fix my skin texture..

It won't just even out your texture. I don't think any primer will do that on own, usually primer goes along with foundation. When I used to wear makeup on shavbbos I would spritz thr spray and it refreshed the makeup I was already wearing

What exactly are your skin concerns?

Pores and small lines.
So a face primer can do that alone without adding color. A silicone primer usually does but it’s not liquid.

Can’t explain, I think if you applied a primer alone, you know what I am talking about.

Why can't you apply it prior to shabbos?
