Is it allowed? Is there any correct way to do it?

I won’t have great skin and pausing my routing for Shabbos and Y”T is hard.

There was a thread in here recently where someone mentioned oil as a moisturizer might be allowed, since it's very liquidy.

But there's also other potential issues with it so best to asked your rav

You can use anything that is very liquidy like water or loose powder.
So you can use liquid serums and loose translucent powder.

Serums aren't liquidy like water. They are thicker. Toners are liquidy like water

AIUI, olive oil, not water, is the standard. Anything no more viscous than olive oil is ok. Toners, btw, are generally thinner than water because they contain alcohol or other solvents.

I don’t want to take over OP’s thread, but how do people apply sunscreen or any SPF on Shabbos?

Spray that’s a mist, so there’s no shmearing.

I use jojoba oil.
My rav told me I can do for maintenance. But not for medical reasons.
