Shuey sat up in bed and rubbed his eyes. Was this a dream or was he truly awake? There appeared to be a flashing star with eyes and hands, a very old man with a long white beard and a twinkling eyes, and a pair of wooden clogs dancing in front of his eyes.
They were real! He reached out his hands to feel them when the old guy said gently-“ my dear, listen to what each of us can offer before you touch any of us. The star can help you create any situation of your wish. I can then help you with the clothes you may require and the clogs can shape into any shoe you may need”.
Incredible!! Shuey had not wanted to go to bed today- why, he wasn’t tired at all! And he had already slept yesterday! He definitely wanted to go explore a cave away from Daddy’s strict bedtime rules and Ima’s soft but just as firm ‘into bed now!’
He touched the star and a cave began to form in front of him. He definitely needed warm clothes, which the old man slipped onto him. How delicious and soft! The clogs materialized a pair of hiking boots which he slipped his feet into. All ready to go!
He began to enter the cave and took a few steps. There were stairs to navigate now. He began to go down slowly and then turned to walk around the bend.
What were Daddy and Ima doing in his cave? They were sitting at a table with mugs of tea. And they were looking at him, saying something that sounded like “looks like Shuey has been visited by the sleepwalking master” and things like that.
And despite his protest, they picked him up and put him back to bed, soft clothing and all.

No, of course you haven't read it - because I'm still in the middle of writing it. But for the purposes of this question, you have to write a book report convincing enough that your teacher thinks you actually read the book. Anddddd.... GO!
