Im.looking for an affordable plan I can sign my son up for. The one his yeshiva sent a link for is close to $3,000 for the year. Are there cheaper options?

My son had Macabi, Israeli health insurance. It didn't cost much. For an extra 70 or 75 shekels a month we were even able to upgrade to a very good plan.

He doesn't need to use one of those expensive insurances, he can just pay for Israeli healthcare. In mir the bachurim all sign up for meuchedet.

Thank you for the replies!
How can I get a price for either of these?
I checked the maccabi website even when translated to English once you want to sign up I saw it's Hebrew only
And meuhedet says the website is now available in Israel only?

we did meuchedet. It's about $40 a month. My son had to sign himself up when he arrived in Israel. They will not cover existing conditions.
