Hi,
Can anyone share their experience with a child on intuniv? Looking to start this for focusing issues.

My daughter has been on this meds for almost two years. Life saver! Only side effects I could think of is making her sleepy so I give it to her at night.

For my son it helps more for the hyperactive part than for focusing. I give it to him before he goes to sleep and he’s calm the next day.
He takes the extended release form. No side effects bh

Hyperactivity is not an issue bh. Comfort, can you elaborate? What did you see it helped with?

Great , great , great medication for adhd w/ no side effects.
Helps w/ many adhd symptoms, but can’t say that it helps w/ focusing

It does not help for focusing, I'm surprised you were given it for that.
It's excellent for impulsivity and regulation but not focus.

Searching online, I see it says helps with executive functioning. Doesn't that include focusing?

My child is on Ritalin to help with focusing and intuitive for help with impulsivity, better judgment, safety, problem solving, etc. thos are also executive function skills.

It has side effects, my daughter had quite a few tiredness, stomach pain, irritability. There is no such a thing as a medication without side effects, just everyone reacts differently.

Was she on the rapid release or the extended release? My son had those symptoms on the rapid form but not the extended
