What do you think of a $5 increase per hour? I work PT so it's really not a lot per week. Maybe I'm used to nicer increases, and feel like this doesn't make me feel needed and good...

It depends on what % of your pay a $5 increase/hour represents. Average raises are 3%-5% depending on the industry. For example, if you were making $40/hour, a $5 increase is a significant percentage!!

That’s basically the amount I got this year, I work 22 hours a week

Companies aren’t doing as well this year as the past few years.

Typically, it's 3-5% of annual salary, and tops 10%

Sounds like a massive raise! I was happy when I got a 7% raise of $2 an hour.

How much do you get paid now an hour?
How important are you to the company?
How was your preform since this past year?
How long have you been with the company?

Where I work standard is 3-4%. If high achiever 6% based on. Review score.

Can get a raise for more money. But not annual. Have to ask for it. Present case.

That’s very significant!! If you work 5 hours/day, that’s $25/day and $125/week, $500/month, $6000/ year more!

That’s a good raise! I get an annual COL raise, 2-3%.

That sounds nice. The most I ever got raised was $2 an hour. But even small raises over time add up
