For those of you who are leasing, curious as to why you don’t buy (new or pre owned)

So we didn't put down any money. It wasn't helpful in the long run of payments.

Because every car lease I bought out needed a new transmission within three years of buying it out due to the wear and tear I put on the car and that costs a fortune so wasn’t financially worth
It for me

Transmission after 6 years of having a new car? That sounds like really bad cars. What cars were those?

You’re paying almost $50,000???

Yes. We bought 2 years ago when they were hard to get. It’s a touring model. Dh friend is in the business and we gave him back our lease which he sold for lots of $$$ we thought we will get a discount but didn’t. Bh we got 2.9 interest.

Regular cars, Avalon, Camry etc. it’s nothing to do with bad cars. It’s the crazy mileage that’s put on causes the transmission to go

What company and model is your ev-suv? We need to lease a second car with a budget of up to $300/month.

Chevy blazer.
If you put about 1500 down you can lower the monthly payments.
You need to invest about 500 for adding strong amps outlet. But 2 of our kids have evs. So it’s worth it. We have solar panels in the roof.

I can't be stressed about miles. I. Have friends that literally monitor their driving when they have a few months left.

These numbers are scary
We just spent $3000 to fix our 14 year old minivan - hoping to get another year out of it
I can't fathom spending this much money on a car Crying
We paid 18k to buy our minivan 13 years ago, it was one year used. The prices have almost tripled
