Take it out by hand and go tomorrow to doctor for prescription.

Also give probiotics for future prevention.

There is no way to take it out by hand, they live in the intestine by the hundreds.
You need to enforce strict handwashing, firstly. Soap and water after the bathroom and before eating. Bathe in the morning and change underwear so as to reduce the spread of eggs. Speak to your doctor about treatment. If you are in the US, the treatment is over the counter. Give meds to the family. The next day, change everyone’s linen (careful to not flap it around too much). Change all towels. Use disposable hand towels if possible. Wash all underwear, pjs, linen, and towels on hot water. Vacuum the bedrooms thoroughly. Repeat the meds and the laundry process in two weeks.
Read up on the life cycle of the worms so you understand more about the treatment and the process.

Edited to add: make sure to keep nails short.

Thumbsuckers are the worse.
One of my kids is a thumb sucker.
Wash hands well after bathroom and before eating. With soap and warm water. Also after coming come from camp/outside.
Sand boxes are breeders!
Keep nails short at all times.
The over the counter stuff is a paralytic, it only paralyzes the worms for around 24 hours so that it gets to come out in your bowls but doesn't kill it. So kids that don't go so regularly give 1 dose for 2 or 3 days and encourage going. Maybe a laxative. (Doctors suggestion)
Vermox kills it but very often you need to pay cash for it and it can be very hard on the stomach/body.

Pineapple juice daily.
Cina homeopathy
Keep away from sugar as much as possible.
Probiotics.

If kid is in pain/discomfort. Run a shallow bath, put lots of sugar in. Sit them in. They will come out and feed on the water. Let down the bath, wash the tub while child us under the shower keeping warm. Run another bath with baking soda.
I did sugar baths 2x for my girls and they developed vaginal yeast infections!

Since I started doing the baking soda after it didn't happen anymore.

Good luck.

I got the Reese’s over the counter and wondering what else to do in additional to it. Also gave turmeric with water. Should I wait to see what happens or whack it?

Give the Reese’s and repeat treatment in three weeks
Wash all linen in hot water (don’t shake around because it’s likely covered with pinworm eggs)
Vacuum all the carpets (go vacuum up the eggs)
Change underwear/pajamas in the morning
Keep nails short
Wash hands with soap after using the bathroom
Key is to treat entire household!

I have 1 child who is prone to pinworm infestations, this is what I do when he starts complaining.
Reeses pinx in the evening. And then another dose 24 hours later. For the whole family
Start zahlers paraguars or bioray happy. Give for 30 days
2 weeks after the first dose of reeses, give 2 more doses 24 hours apart.
Continue the paraguard or bioray happy to complete 30 days.

The reason you need to repeat pinx 2 weeks later is because it only works to paralyze live worms, it does nothing for the eggs they already layed. So 2 weeks later those eggs will hatch and you'll have a new infestation and the cycle will continue indefinitely

The herbs are to make the gut inhospitable to parasites.

My doctor says there are only three that work pinworms,
#1 Vermox
#2 Vermox
#3 Vermox

(As well as hygiene, he's talking medication)

Kyolic from my local health food store worked great when applied anally. You can put it in like an enema or just smear some on the backside. Also vinegar on the palm of your child's hands. I did both and I saw a difference immediately.

I'm not from the US, but the active ingredient is Mebendezole. Possibly OVEX.

My doctor gave me a written prescription for it and told me to submit it to an online Canadian pharmacy. Was pretty simple.

The worms get into the body from dirty hands and dirty nails.

The eggs are in dirt under nails and introduced to the gut that way

The only thing that works for my kids: pindrops from the company herbari. Most local health food stores sell it.
