I finally got on to vouchers. I found a daycare for my daughter. I got a call a little over two weeks ago, confirming that I want to start in the summer. I said YES! She told me the hours. All the info. When the first day is.....
I came down yesterday for orientation and they shut the door on my face and told me my daughter isn't on the list. She is on a wait-list.
I am really upset and they were so not nice about it. They blamed it that I must have misunderstood . I'm not sure how I could have misunderstood - I got a call my daughter is in.
How can I place just do that???
I also heard from a coworker that her relative had the exact same experience yesterday by orientation at this daycare. They way overbooked. How can you just leave us parents hanging last minute???
So upsetting. And really not right

I guess this shoukd be a PSA: if your child is accepted in daycare get a confirmation text!
