Hi,

Can anyone tell me where the beach is free near Lakewood?
Or what time in the day do you not need to pay anymore?
Or any info on how much it is?

I see this site: https://jenkinsons.com/beach/pricing/ but is there any beach nearby for free?

Point pleasant area would be best, down cedarbridge.

Thank you so much!!

Do not go into the water without lifeguards on duty. It's beyond dangerous.

A friend almost died last year. Bh surfers rescued the Freind

Yes it's free but your not allowed to go into the water. They Say it's contaminated or something like that & there are no lifeguards.

It’s not very close to Lakewood but also not too far: Seven President’s Beach Park in Long Branch is free after 4 pm, and the lifeguards stay until 5 so you can get a full hour of free, supervised swimming.

Windward beach park is free
has a nice playground, picnic tables and plenty of sand to play in. there are no signs that you cant go into the water but there are no lifeguards
We go several times a summer and its perfect for little kids who dont like the big waves
Its usually pretty quiet

I went last week and there were signs saying that the water has high bacteria levels and should not be entered.

THIS.
Entering the water without a lifeguard on duty is dangerous.
Spend the few dollars it takes to visit a guarded beach; it will likely be the wisest money you spend all summer.
