I’ve heard that bed wetting is associated with constipation. If that is the case, address it first.

It's very genetic. There often is no cause. Some of my siblings only stopped mid-teens, my parents tried EVERYTHING, nothing helped but they eventually grew out of it (I presume).

There are many reasons. My DD's is due to ADHD.

Will ADHD related bedwetting (what I assume my teen has) be outgrown?

I was saying that when it's due to genetics, one can't always find a cause. Not in every case.

Have you tried craniosacral therapy? I know someone who had success with that, I don't know details though.

If a kid has adhd and bedwetting, I would assume a deeper cause. Some things that are coming to mind are chronic infection like strep, mouth breathing, enlarged tonsils/adenoids, a sleep disorder. Do any of those ring a bell? Have you explored any of this?

ADHD is not related to bedwetting. Yes I know Google will tell you otherwise, ADHD is way over- and mis-diagnosed.

However ASD is related to bedwetting. So much so that late potty-training or extended bedwetting may as well be on the list of symptoms for "does your child have ASD" "your child may have ASD if s/he is still bedwetting past age 6/ had trouble potty-training/ suffers from encopresis."

A lot of "severely ADHD" girls are in fact HFASD girls who mask really well and haven't been diagnosed ASD (because it presents differently in girls and girls mask well).

True ADHD, real ADHD, that isn't comorbid or misdiagnosed as other issues, does not cause bedwetting in any cases.

If your daughter is bedwetting and it is related to ASD she may outgrow it and may not. I think most ASD kids do outgrow it.
