My 3.5 year old daughter used to be the most easygoing kid ever. Literally a dream. Her playgroup morah raved how amazing she is etc. well I had a baby in February and ever since then she’s become impossible. She fights with all the other kids, has meltdowns, doesn’t listen etc. I’ve been giving her tons of extra attention and doing charts and prizes and going on small outings with her. It’s been months and nothing helped. She’s been nonstop fighting with siblings and we all walk on eggshells around her. I know it’s because she’s not the baby anymore and it’s a difficult transition for her but we are going crazy. Any ideas of what more I can do??

No. I was in the hospital for a week before the baby and then stayed another 3 days after and it began that week. It was a difficult week for everyone but I guess bringing home a baby didn’t help the matter.

It can be because of the baby, but it very well may be a stage I call the terrible 3's. My kids are the cutest little teddy bears at 2 but at 3- omg they turn into little stubborn monsters!

I find 3 years old very difficult- they behave better at 4.

But from one week to the next? He was always the most gentle, calmest kid ever. Super easy-going etc. now he’s a terror lol. I’m beyond exhausted taking care of him and dealing with his nonstop fighting, tantrums, spitting etc. I wait anxiously for bedtime each day which is so sad

Makes sense. I had it and so did a few of my acquaintances....
