Yes I took my kids to see it. It was adorable. Completely appropriate imo, no woke agenda.

And nothing else. | I assume she means internal family systems. Which is not inappropriate at all. I’m waiting for it to be available online but in the meantime I keep seeing commentary so I think I know the whole plot already

IFS is diff parts of us. We can have diff parts even contradicting one another. Not one part of us is bad, it's just there to protect us from pain and used as a coping mechanism. I just got a small clip as a preview, which seems like cartoons portraying diff emotions, when one jumps up, another emotion pops up and knocks that one down. So maybe it supposed to show us why these emotions are there and what their purpose is.

I don't get why Riley got embarrassment and anxiety only when she hit puberty. My toddler gets embarrassed sometimes. And my five year-old was always anxious since she was a baby. I've seen newborns cry for attention just because their bored.
How did she not feel all that before thirteen?

You should watch the whole movie.
Its about our emotions. Its inside us. Your description is a little bit off.

But I dont get how its like that. The movie is literally about a girl hitting puberty and how all of the different emotions end up working together.
How is that ifs?

They were there, but weren't living in Headquarters until puberty hit.
Anyway, to answer op, nothing woke or political, looks like Pixsr finally got the message and went back to good old entertaining and whimsical storytelling. I really enjoyed it as did my kids.

How did she not feel all that before thirteen? | A toddler's anxiety and embarrassment and a teen's anxiety and embarrassment are very different. I developed an anxiety disorder once I hit puberty. And that's not uncommon.
