Imas mentioned that the joined Prolific and do surveys for extra income. I applied and was wait listed. Then they invited me to join but creating a log-in wouldn't work. I contacted their webmasters, got nowhere.
Now, even after I never officially made a log-in, I got offered a survey. Guess what? I can't open it either.
Anyway, has anyone successfully joined Prolific and did surveys from Israel?

actually no it does not work. it let me make an account but every time I try to complete a survey it says there was an error. its annoying bc I waited like a year on the waitlist!

What error does it say you have? Some people have issues with their IP address lately. That’s error PEC-SUB-0002. If that’s your issue, trying logging on using your phone to reserve studies. When you use your data on your phone, you are less likely to have a banned IP address. You should be able to complete the study on whatever device you want after accepting it on your phone.
People outside the US and UK don’t tend to get many surveys.

That sucks, I’m sorry!
You can try signing up for cloud research connect. I don’t think they have a wait list. It doesn’t have as many studies as prolific in my experience but it’s still pretty good.

I'm in Israel. I just applied and got approved immediately (?!) but when I try to click to join a survey but I get the PEC-SUB-002 error...
My phone has a filter...

Cool! It does happen that some people get approved immediately.
You can try turning your WiFi router on and off, or leaving it off overnight if that doesn’t work. The goal would be to get your internet provider to assign you a new IP address because your old one is on a blacklist somewhere.

Btw prolific seems to have changed things on the backend yesterday. Fewer people are getting this error message. Maybe try checking if the issue was fixed for you.
