That's true. My friend just told me her husband lost grip of a regular kids 39" mattress. It t slid down the stairs hitting the sheetrock wall and it MADE A DENT IN THE WALL! how bizarre is that??? A soft mattress. The walls here ARE made of paper. But the point is that kids do destructive things in anger. That's a issue in and of itself.

My son once tripped and hit his head on the wall... and put a hole in the wall! (His head was fine. Rock solid apparently.)

Well it looks like I'm in good company... We had the most holes and broken doors during COVID. At least we had no onw coming over so no one saw the destruction. Other than my cleaning lady. I have no idea what she thought!! We had half a door at one point, like a barn. Lol. We patched most with those sticker patches from Amazon. And then painted. The last one needs spackle I think. (That door was obviously not repairable)

You are correct but this is what happens when a holocaust happens and emphasis is put on rebuilding and the next generation is completely emotionally detached and the following disregulated generation is healing while raising kids who are completely disregulated

I voted yes, but he didn't kick holes in the wall.
Just doors.
We have several doors have holes.
As he gets older, he has matured a bit.
Most of the kicking doors happened when he was in 1-2 grade.

My father kicked a hole in his sister's door when she blockaded herself when they were having a fight, and my brother did the same with my door, exactly the same situation. Neither are violent and they are both grandfathers/ my father is a great grandfather and they have been very successful in life and neither have temper issues.
I think you need to see it as part of a picture if the kid needs help, or if the door is flimsy and it's normal for siblings to fight even if we wish they didn't.

The wall was thin sheet rock. I don't even remember the circumstances but a younger child taped it with scotch tape. Still makes me laugh thinking about it.

This is bizarre reasoning. As it happens, none of my grandparents or great grandparents or my husbands were in the holocaust, our parents and grandparents are not emotionally detached and I don't see myself as dysregulated or healing. So why do my kids fight?
