Dough pulled away from side of bowl

but not from the bottom.

there is a thin layer of dough at the bottom of the mixing bowl.
I took out the bulk of the dough and left that layer.

it hasnt been kneaded. should I throw it out or incorporate in dough?
will it effect the recipe either way?

is it meant to be clean at the bottom?

Go ahead, scrape it up and work it in with the rest. Next time do this when you dump the dough out of the bowl . No, it will not affect your dough in any way. It's the same dough. And if you have some dough stuck to the sides of the bowl, it's still the same dough. Get a flexible scraper or make one out of an old flexible plastic cutting sheet, scrape out the bowl and mush all the bits and pieces of dough together.
