Febrile seizure comes from a sudden spike in temperature, not a gradual rise or a sustained high temperature. My daughter had a febrile seizure when she spiked from 99 to 103 in a few minutes. She's had 101 and 102 and acted normal.

This is not true for everyone.
My dd sometimes has a febrile seizure before she even has a fever. She will have a seizure and then not long after get a fever. Sometimes it's even a low fever. We were told that we should try to lower her fever with meds but it probably won't prevent the seizure. She has had probably at least 10 seizures. I'm hoping she'll outgrowb them soon.

If you overdose, yes.
In appropriate dosages, no.

Even therapeutic doses will significantly stress the liver because of how much glutathione is needed to metabolize it. A single unintentional overdose can lead to acute liver failure. Not a very safe profile if you ask me. Especially given how critical glutathione is in times of Illness.
