I accomplish this only one a year right before Pesach. Otherwise the pile is about as big as a household worth of clothes.

Reminds me of a high school teacher that said that on the Tide box is says HAPPINESS IS AN EMPTY LAUNDRY BASKET.
Then the teacher proceeded to go on about how sad it is that for a non jew, happiness is an empty laundry basket and how for us jews, happiness is from ruchnyos, and we jews have large families that keep the laundry basket full.
And every time my laundry basket is empty, this quote comes to mind & I think about what that teacher said & how dumb that was. Because an empty laundry basket, is happiness. Even if just for a little bit.

"Every time you think you're done with doing laundry there's another load walking around"
"Sometimes you might feel like no one's there for you. But you know who's always there for you? Laundry. Laundry will always be there for you."

I've stopped trying to have an empty laundry hamper. It was a segula for one of the kids to have a toilet accident that day... (Including a nearly 7 yr old who NEVER has accidents)
On a serious note well done you!
