Rice Crispy Kishke

4 cups Rice Crispy Cereal
3 eggs
3/4 cup oil
1 cup hot water
Salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika to taste

Mix all ingredients. Let sit until soggy. Shape into "logs" and wrap in parchment paper. If I want to do this in advance I then freeze it. Otherwise, place on top of cholent in pot or crock pot.

Sounds interesting. I'm going to try it. My DH will be so excited if I tell him we will be having kishka. (I banned it from the house as an unhealthy food) I hope he's not disappointed when he finds out it's snap, crackle, and pop!
Can you keep parchment paper in the crock pot for so long, or do you take it out of the paper?

Oh, I just re-read the recipe. Lots of oil and eggs. Maybe I'll make it for a special occasion. Very Happy
