I have 3 a day. One after another in the morning and then a 3rd later in the afternoon, like 3 or 4 pm

Usually only 1 a day, morning.

I tend to eat a lot of meat (lunch and dinner), so that makes it where I can't have coffee with milk after breakfast. I can't drink coffee without milk. I actually do like it with oat or soy milk, but I don't usually buy them. In fact, I specifically try to avoid having parve milks at home, because it helps me manage my weight not being able to drink milks/eat cereal after meat.

Is coffee bad for weight loss if one adds a little 1% milk?
Or is it unhealthy for other reasons?
I drink 1 cup a day at work. When I'm home I don't drink coffee.

Ok as far as what? If you want to keep your pearly whites pearly white, avoid both coffee and tea, which stain. For your bones, caffeine interferes with calcium absorption, so decaf would be the way to go. Don't forget about caffeine in colas and other soft drinks.

A little bit of 1% milk or even a bit of whole milk in your coffee won't hamper your weight loss. If you need that little bit of fat to make the coffee palatable, and this keeps you from scarfing down a chocolate bar, go ahead. If, OTOH, you drink what's called קפה הפוך, which is a lot of milk and a little coffee, and you drink three cups a day, you might want to go for skim milk instead, even though it lacks the flavor richness.

One when I wake up usually hot

A second one iced when I get to work. This is my self care ritual. I get these cups on amazon and make big iced coffees when Im making my kids lunches.

A third one around 3-4 pm.

I like a lot of ice so I like a big cup. But its a good feeling to make myself something nice while I am getting the kids out that I can enjoy in peace when I sit down at my desk.

About 3 times a year.
Coffee is really really hard on your adrenals.

I buy these cups for much less at amazing savings. Just letting you know that you can get them for less if you live near AS.
And yes, my teen daughters claim that iced coffee tastes much better in these cups!

Of course coffee isn't great for you, but so is a grumpy mommy LOL

I have one coffee in the morning and occasionally one in the afternoon if I need it.

Actually, even though I had my hot coffee at 8:30, I think I’m gonna make an iced coffee now. Reading this made me very in the mood!
I have so much to do today… I’m so tired. I can use the boost!
It will hopefully keep me feeling full enough that I don’t start eating all the shavuos food in my house.
(20 lbs overweight 😐)

Nothing wrong with the coffee, it's the sugar that's really bad, if you can cut down on that you will see benefits.

Black, or with sugar? with cream/milk?

There are actually great benefits to coffee but great harm when it's taken with a lot of sugar (as most iced coffees are).

If black, up to 4 cups a day should be fine. Also FYI dark roast has less caffeine.

Basic physiology. Caffeine works by forcing your adrenals to pump out adrenaline and cortisol, the stress hormones.
