Are you worried it may have been stolen?
I wouldn’t make a purchase worth a lot of money because of the risk of getting scammed.

Do I need to be concerned that perhaps the owner walked into a church with it? I doubt it would have been part of the ceremony, though.

Thanks. I called a Rabbi to be sure and he said it's not Avodah Zara even if it was worn at a church.

Well, if it's shaped like a lower case letter "t" and has what looks like a tiny figure of a man in a loincloth on it, don't buy it.
