IDK but I would never knowingly buy or lease a German-made product.

I just hear of that. But I'm wondering isn't bugaboo carriages and Bosch machines too?

Ooh I loved my Volkswagen. Great drive. Quick acceleration good brakes smooth turns. never had a problem with it.
Eta I had it for 3 years (lease) around 20k miles. Can’t tell you how it would be if you have 50k or 100k miles.

Nothing these days is truly a German company. Except maybe Birkenstocks. Even if the company is located in one area, things are made everywhere and shipped. Like Toyotas are made in Indiana and Mississippi and other states, at one point a Cadillac was made in Germany, a German company bought Chrysler, the list goes on and on. Not to mention all the other companies that are German and helped nazis like ibm, Bayer, Chanel, many more. The more you look the more find.

Even if one is not so... strict(?) in this idea, VW in particular was really Hitler's brainchild. I can't imagine to drive such a thing.

I have a Volkswagen. I've only had vw. I love my car. It's a 2014. I got it in 2017 used and it's still fine and I commute. I don't know what your salesperson is talking about

Was curious so I looked it up. According to Google, bugaboo is from the Netherlands. Bosch is German owned.

I love my Bosch too. It makes such yummy challah!
I'll never forget when someone criticized my husband (to me) saying that he'd never drive a German car. He proudly said "the only thing I have that's made in Germany is a shower head" (of course I couldn't resist) and said back "I'd be a lot more willing to have a German car than a German shower head" he laughed and the conversation was over 😉
