Wow, I could not read the whole thing.
The article had such an awful slant to it. So completely off.
Not what the rikudegalim is about at all.

I didn't even need to read the article. "Nationalist" is a word that only people I'm not gonna have anything in common with use. My people use the word "Patriot" instead.

Gross. I was there and the streets were filled with high school students and others of all ages dancing and singing.
"some of whom carried weapons."
^^^ Um, anybody in the IDF who is issued a gun has to carry their weapon on them at all times, and since we are in the middle of a war, there are a lot of people in that category. I'm sure the author realizes this. What a joke.

Many Israeli newspapers carry similar articles, unfortunately.
We can't expect more from non-Jews when our own newspapers cover Yom Yerushalayim in such disgusting terms.
Only Leftist protests get positive coverage.

Did she check if they were protesting anything?
What about if they did the exact same thing last year and previous years?

I feel like this is the same people who are anti guns in the USA too, and would be appalled at Texans having a parade where lots of people had guns on them.
They make it sound like they were poised to shoot or something. Language is so powerful, they could of used the word firearm or another legal term but went with weapons which implys they are there to be used to hurt someone else.

What got me was the line about how Al Aqsa is the third-holiest site in Islam, but Jews call it the Temple Mount. (Literally this, with no further context.)
Seriously?
S/he should win an award for the best subversion of journalism.
What was heartening was that a brief perusal of the comments showed that most people thought the article was bad.
