Sauté onion with 2-3 garlic cloves.
Add 1/3 cup honey and 3 tablespoons soy sauce dissolved in a tablespoon of corn starch. Add string beans once thickened
You can also freeze the sauce, pour over frozen string beans and stick in the oven on yomtov.

Approx how many stringbeans for that sauce?

I melt 6-8 cubes of frozen garlic in a little bit of hot water, then pour that and some olive oil in the green beans and mix. I put it in the oven on 425° for 15-20 minutes. Once it’s cooked, I store it in a glass container with a rubber/plastic cover. When I’m warming it up, I’ll take the cover off and rest it over the top, and put the container on the blech.
