Doubtful that it's Hungarian. It's probably the Chassidish pronunciation of אסותא - which means "bless you" in Aramaic.
------------
Some others relating to "precious" or "dear" (aside from Ahuva = beloved and Yakira = precious):
Adi (a-DEE) - a (precious) jewel
Hadar/Hadara (ha-DAR, ha-DAR-a) - splendor/glory
Chaviva - beloved
Zohara (zo-HAR-a) - splendid, brilliance (shine)
Chana - grace
Ziv (ZEEV) - radiance (Ziva was once popular, but was replaced with the trendier/shorter version)
Gilli (GEE-LEE - hard g) - my joy
Margalit - pearl
Penina - precious stone/pearl
Sapir (sa-PEER) - sapphire
Atara - crown
Hila (hee-LAH) - halo/aura
Avigail - my father's joy

It's אסותא
Which means health in Aramaic, nothing to do with the name mentioned up thread or with Hungarian

Yedida would use the same root as David without feminizing.

Good to know! My Hungarian grandparents always said it, so I assumed it was Hungarian like the rest of what they said☺️

I know at least 10 people named Libi. That's their name, not a nickname.

In Israel there is probably one in each grade from 1st grade to high school, in both DL and secular schools.
I think it's like #30 on the most popular baby girls names (in Israel).

Adira doesn't really mean precious or beloved, it's more like great, powerful and mighty.
