Avner Gold books are amazing. I love his depiction of details, it makes you feel as if you're there.

A few of Meir Uri Gottesman's books have a good chunk of historical fiction in them, especially Morning Star. The Harp was much more difficult to read, but I heard good things about The Chase and also liked The Shul Boy (multiple time periods).

Some of the Gershon Kranzler books are good too, thinking particularly about The Broken Bracelet and Bustenai.

I love Meir Baram even though his books are geared for a younger age. (The Kingdom Didn't Fall, The Stone of the Altar...)

Nezirah is also a solid book.

You might also like Every Man a Slave (Sender Zeyv).

Hence Meyer has written 4 or 5 historical novels, very well researched. Fall of the sun god is set in the period of the crusades and is pretty fascinating.
