it cam out really good with sauteed veggies and spices, egg, binder baked in the oven.

but they still need abit of help. they browned on the outside but were abit like raw inside.

I baked for 25 min. if I bake more it would dry out.

do you have to cover it first and then open bake or maybe open bake and then close?

I used ground beef - is mixed chicken and beef better?

thanks so much e/one!

Lay out on a cookie sheet so the sides are open. Raise the temperature if you're putting is so many fillers. Enjoy.

I usually make ground meat with sauteed onions, squash and carrots, a egg and m.meal or cooked quinoa to bind and cook it in tomato sauce.

I want to try without tomato sauce - a beef patty baked in the oven.

what changes would I need to make it should come out good in the oven?

I think you would have to pour a little bit of oil on each burger

btw - would this be called burger?

is a burger a meatball without sauce?

Yes, a burger is a flattened meatball without sauce, grilled or fried.

A burger is not a flattened meatball. A burger is only beef no fillers.

I often make meatballs in the oven, sometimes for Shabbat to reheat on the platta. If you Google "meatballs in oven" you get a lot of recipes and tips and tricks. Play around with what you read and soon you'll have delicious oven baked meatballs to your taste.

todays experiment will be sauteed onion and garlic to the full fat minced beef.

thats it.

baked on 350 for 20-25 min.

will leaving out egg make it dryer?

I added water to soften it,

will it effect taste in any way?

I tried one of those 2 ingredient meatball recipes where you just roll ground beef into balls and drop into sauce and we were not fans. It was dry and chewy without the egg.
