I’d really like to treat her, but she’s in a weird mood and needs ideas for inspiration.
In the about $50 range, though she deserves something a lot more- but tends to be cheap on herself.

- no perfumes or diffusers please (she’s super sensitive to artificial smells)
-is not a jewelry gal, so she’s still good with her everyday $12 tj max earrings

Um, that is not a gift. It may be a great tool to have but definitely not a self care item!

My husband's wife would really appreciate some good quality chocolate and a nap.

Also some sparkly jewelry that doesn't have to be expensive.

Oh, and did I mention a nap while he takes care of their baby?

Kenz, I was about to post "A gift doesn't necessarily have to be a self-care item," and I still maintain that. However, I followed the link and am forced to agree, a power scrubber is not a gift, even if the recipient asks for it. It's work equipment. Speaking as someone whose dh gave her a vacuum cleaner as an anniversary gift. It's such a classic husband mistake, you'd never dream your own dh would do such a thing. And not for Labor Day, haha, for our anniversary! He never heard of roses? But what bothered me in truth wasn't that he gave me a household tool as a gift. What bothered me was that he chose it without consulting me, and he chose the type I hate most. If you're going to spend hundreds of dollars on a gift, don't you think you should make sure it's something the recipient will like?

Thanks so much everyone!

This was so fun to browse and make the wife feel loved and taken care of while husband is “away for business” (No he’s not, just busy 23:59 of every day with an intense work project and the 1 minute he has available that’s a scattered 5 seconds here and 13 seconds there he breathes this project. So she’s feeling kind of lonely now…)

First of all I love your vibe! You are hysterical…

I love personalized items like personalized note pad with my name on it. Some new clothing is fun too- something a bit more then I’d usually spend, do you like memberships to a program like gym or self help or a book you want but didn’t want to splurge? I love going to traders joes and getting a cool soap or candle kind of thing or healthy ish candy…

I'm not so sure. Depends on your type!
I bought an electric steam mop and totally feel like I gifted myself. It's not something I need need but makes mopping so much more pleasant and easy.
